Extainer Series

The Extainer stands in contrast to the container: rather than storing or concealing, it exposes the object as an open structure. Function does not vanish, but recedes to the periphery, allowing other potentials to emerge — corporeal, cultural, associative. Each work arises from the deconstruction of a familiar form and the inhabitation of its “negative” spaces. From trace and deformation a new topology appears, in which the object ceases to be merely an instrument and becomes a site of experience, gesture, and contemplation.
